SDP Women’s Wing Applauds INEC Over Adebayo Presidential Candidacy

Ambassador Hajiya Sa’adatu Abdullahi of the SDP Women Parliament has praised INEC for confirming Prince Adewole Adebayo as the party’s presidential candidate, viewing it as a positive step for the upcoming election.

The National Speaker of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Women Parliament, Ambassador Hajiya Sa’adatu Abdullahi, has officially endorsed the Independent National Electoral Commission’s decision to publish Prince Adewole Adebayo as the party’s presidential flagbearer. She stated that this move enhances the party’s momentum as the election approaches.

In an Abuja statement released Sunday, Abdullahi noted that this milestone highlights the National Working Committee’s dedication to internal democratic processes. She emphasized that the ticket, featuring Prince Adewole Adebayo and running mate Dr. Usman Mohammed Bugaje, shows the SDP is prepared to offer leadership focused on economic growth, social justice, and the rule of law.

The Ambassador praised INEC for managing the nomination phase with transparency. She expressed belief in Adebayo’s capability to navigate the nation’s obstacles. Furthermore, she urged supporters, youths, and women to unify their efforts in grassroots mobilization, stressing the importance of promoting issue-driven campaigns.

Finally, the Women Parliament committed to rallying nationwide support for the ticket. Abdullahi concluded by asking Nigerians to offer prayers for Adebayo, seeking divine wisdom and strength for him during the upcoming electoral cycle.
