Real Madrid officially dismiss Michael Olise transfer rumors

Real Madrid has denied holding any talks to sign Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise, calling recent reports of a massive transfer bid inaccurate.

Real Madrid has formally refuted claims suggesting they are pursuing Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise. The club issued a statement on Saturday clarifying that no communication has occurred between Real Madrid and the 24-year-old, his agents, or any associated parties regarding a potential transfer.

Addressing rumors of a proposed 200 million euro bid, the Spanish side emphasized their strong professional ties with Bayern Munich and expressed frustration regarding inaccurate media speculation. They noted that any formal interest in a player under contract with another team would be managed through direct communication between the two clubs.

Olise, currently representing France at the 2026 World Cup, has been a significant contributor for Bayern, recording 22 goals and 31 assists during the 2025-26 season. Meanwhile, Real Madrid continues its recruitment under Jose Mourinho, having secured players like Bernardo Silva, Marc Cucurella, and Ibrahima Konate. These moves follow the reelection of club president Florentino Perez, who recently retained his position with 65% of the vote.
