Prince Harry and Family to Reside in Royal Properties During July UK Visit

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their two children are scheduled to stay at royal residences during their first family trip to the UK in four years this July.

Prince Harry, accompanied by his wife Meghan and their two children, will utilize royal residences throughout their upcoming July trip to the United Kingdom. This visit marks the first time the family of four has traveled to the country together in four years. According to information shared with the press on Saturday, the couple plans to split their time between official royal estates and private lodgings.

Reports from the BBC suggest the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been invited to stay at a royal estate by King Charles III. This indicates a departure from past visits, during which Harry frequently opted against staying at royal properties. The couple relocated to North America in 2020 following a public fallout with the royal family, a rift that deepened significantly after the release of Harry’s memoir, Spare, and various legal challenges.

The 41-year-old prince is returning to commemorate the one-year countdown to the 2026 Invictus Games, an event he founded for injured veterans. While Harry has previously expressed a desire to mend his relationship with his father, it remains uncertain if the two will connect. King Charles, 77, is currently undergoing treatment for cancer and had a brief meeting with Harry in September 2025.

Concerns regarding the security of his family remain a primary issue for the prince. After an unsuccessful legal bid to regain full taxpayer-funded police protection, Harry has stated it is difficult to bring his children to the UK safely. Buckingham Palace has not indicated that any supplementary security measures will be provided for this trip. Beyond the Invictus events, Harry is scheduled to participate in various activities related to other charitable organizations he supports.
