Primate Ayodele Rejects Defamation Claims Made by Rabiu Kwankwaso

Primate Elijah Ayodele has denied defaming former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, asserting that his controversial prophecy regarding Peter Obi was a purely divine message devoid of personal animosity.

The head of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has officially dismissed accusations of defamation brought against him by former Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso. The controversy stems from a previous prophecy where Ayodele claimed that Kwankwaso might betray former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, in his pursuit of the presidency.

Through his media representative, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric asserted that he harbored no malice or intent to slander the politician. Ayodele explained that he acts strictly as a conduit for divine messages and that his comments were not driven by personal grievances. He noted that he has never met the Senator and holds no private animosity toward him.

Ayodele expressed regret that his message was misinterpreted and misrepresented by external parties involved in the politician’s career. He suggested that had Kwankwaso reached out for clarification, the misunderstanding could have been avoided. The religious leader emphasized that his prophecies are neutral and based solely on divine guidance rather than personal bias.

Furthermore, the Primate advised public figures to seek dialogue before resorting to threats. He also issued a stern warning against those who edit his video clips to fit political agendas, stating that he is prepared to take legal measures against individuals who continue to manipulate his messages.
