President Bola Tinubu has guaranteed a secure environment for Osun State voters this Saturday, urging them to cast their ballots freely as the APC rallies support for candidate Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.

President Bola Tinubu has promised residents of Osun State that robust security measures will be in effect throughout the upcoming governorship election. During an All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Osogbo, the President, represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, encouraged citizens to head to the polls without fear of harassment or intimidation.

Addressing the crowd on behalf of the President, Akpabio emphasized that law enforcement agencies have finalized preparations to maintain order during the voting process. He urged the electorate to participate freely and expressed a desire for Osun to align its leadership with the national government. Akpabio highlighted the strong attendance at the rally as evidence of the APC’s popularity in the state, noting the support of prominent figures like Bisi Akande and Iyiola Omisore.

Furthermore, Akpabio acknowledged support from opposition leaders, including former governor Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola and members of the Accord Party, who have endorsed the APC candidate, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji. The Senate President also criticized the poor state of roads between Ibadan and Osun, calling for significant infrastructure upgrades.

Closing his remarks, Akpabio challenged the APC candidate, often referred to as AMBO, to prioritize development and deliver tangible results for the people of Osun immediately upon taking office.
