Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, has called upon citizens and politicians to maintain order and exhibit tolerance during the upcoming gubernatorial election this Saturday.
Speaking on Wednesday in Ibokun, Obokun Local Government Area, during an event focused on informal workers, Oyintiloye emphasized the party’s dedication to a tranquil democratic process. He urged all involved parties to refrain from behavior that might threaten stability throughout the election cycle.
Oyintiloye specifically requested that the audience advocate for peace within their neighborhoods and pledge their support for Bola Oyebamiji and the APC in the August 15 contest. He asserted that an administration under Oyebamiji would concentrate on economic growth, skill acquisition, and broader inclusivity for the informal labor sector.
The gathering hosted a diverse group of attendees, ranging from tradespeople like welders, tailors, and hairdressers to representatives of the Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association. Additionally, residents from Benue State backgrounds, including the Igede, Idoma, and Tiv communities, were present at the meeting.
