African Democratic Congress candidate Dr. Najeem Salaam has pledged to prioritize electricity stability and economic reform if elected Governor of Osun State.

Dr. Najeem Salaam, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate for the upcoming August 15 election in Osun State, has vowed to provide reliable electricity if he wins the race. During a major campaign rally in Iwo, he outlined a comprehensive 10-point plan aimed at fostering inclusive governance and broad economic development.

Salaam emphasized that his administration would prioritize job creation, healthcare modernization, and educational reform. He plans to establish agricultural estates to boost food security and stimulate the economy. Furthermore, he committed to enhancing state security and providing social welfare programs for the elderly and vulnerable citizens, ensuring equitable opportunities for all residents regardless of their background.

The candidate described his approach as transparent and accessible, noting that he intends to build upon previous state successes rather than starting over. National Secretary of the ADC, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, voiced his support for Salaam, characterizing him as a competent and experienced leader capable of restoring effective governance. Aregbesola encouraged voters to cast their ballots for the ADC, labeling the party as a dependable alternative focused on accountability and tangible results.
