The OK Movement, which supports Nigerian Democratic Congress presidential and vice-presidential candidates Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso, has formally distanced itself from Ogunche Sani. Sani had previously identified himself as the National Executive Committee Director of an entity calling itself the Obidients Kwankwasiyya Merger.
In an official announcement released on Monday, the OK Movement clarified that it has no connection to this group or Sani himself. The organization explicitly rejected a promotional flyer circulating online under Sani’s name, confirming it was not produced by their team.
John Ozyl Ughulu, the National Director General of the OK Movement, emphasized that the public should ignore these unauthorized materials. He noted that the organization has no ties to Sani and does not acknowledge his self-proclaimed title. The Movement maintains that all legitimate communications originate strictly from its recognized leadership under Ughulu. Members are cautioned against sharing personal details or official materials with unauthorized individuals and are urged to stay alert regarding potential impersonation attempts.
