The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially scheduled the passing-out ceremony for the 2025 Batch B, Stream I participants for Thursday, July 9, 2026. This announcement was confirmed on Wednesday by the scheme’s spokesperson, Caroline Embu, via the organization’s social media page.
Preparatory events for the occasion began on June 23, 2026. These activities include career guidance sessions, counseling, and the formal clearance process overseen by Local Government Inspectors and Zonal Inspectors. The final event will be held locally across all government areas, where those who have met all program requirements will be awarded their Certificates of National Service.
Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, the Director-General, offered his best wishes to the departing members. He encouraged them to carry forward the lessons learned during their service and to act as positive representatives of the NYSC in their future professional lives.
