Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has named eight individuals for commissioner positions to bolster his government and improve public service efficiency. The names were presented to the Nasarawa State House of Assembly on Wednesday in Lafia through a letter read by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau.
The group of nominees includes Muhammad Habeeb Nagogo, Ahmed Yakubu Mohammed, Mohammed Baba Shehu, and Mohammed Iyimoga. Also named were Adamu Rabecca Kpadji, Nawani Aboki, Jibril Abdullahi Ibrahim, and Ashefo Daniel Paul. The legislative body has instructed these individuals to provide 30 copies of their resumes to the Clerk of the House. A formal screening process is set to take place on Friday, August 7, 2026. The appointments will only be finalized following confirmation from the state assembly.
