Kwara APC Candidates Launch Appreciation Tour in Ekiti and Oke-Ero

APC candidates in Kwara State, led by Speaker Yakubu Danladi Salihu, visited Ekiti and Oke-Ero to thank traditional leaders and supporters for their role in the recent primaries.

Kwara State All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates, headed by Speaker Yakubu Danladi Salihu, began a series of gratitude visits across the state this Saturday. The delegation, which included state party Chairman Prince Sunday Fagbemi and various supporters, started their journey in the southern region, specifically visiting Ekiti and Oke-Ero local government areas.

The group met with traditional leaders, including the Olosi of Osi, Oba Saliu Abdulkareem Adasofegbe, and the Alofa of Ilofa, Oba Samuel Niyi Dada. During these meetings, Rt. Hon. Danladi expressed gratitude for the backing received during the primary elections and urged voters to remain loyal to the party. He emphasized the group’s commitment to building upon the achievements of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, particularly regarding infrastructure and human capital development.

Prince Fagbemi highlighted the administration’s recent accomplishments, noting the establishment of the Kwara State University (KWASU) campus in Osi and significant road projects, such as the Osi-Obbo-Aiyegunle road. He argued that these developments justify strong electoral support from the local communities. The monarchs acknowledged the progress made over the past seven years and offered prayers for the continued success of the candidates and the current administration.

Local representatives and aspirants, including Hon. Abolarin Ganiyu Gabriel and Prince Lekan Adewoye, also addressed the crowds, pledging to keep the region’s support for the APC steady in the upcoming elections. Community figures expressed confidence in the party’s platform and promised massive turnout at the polls.
