Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has officially named Umar Musa Gama, widely recognized as Umar Maggi, to the position of Special Adviser on Assembly Matters. The news was shared in an official press release on Saturday by Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the spokesperson for the Governor.
Previously, Maggi served as a representative in the 9th Kano State House of Assembly. The administration highlighted his past work in the legislature and his dedication to the progress of the state as primary reasons for the appointment.
Governor Yusuf has called upon his new adviser to utilize his background and work ethic to benefit the current administration. The Governor expressed confidence that Maggi’s expertise will assist in the ongoing efforts to provide efficient governance and high-quality public service to the citizens of Kano.
