JAMB To Release Results Of 379,000 UTME Resit Candidates On Wednesday
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that results from the rescheduled Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), held between Friday, May 16 and Monday, May 19, will be released on Wednesday, May 21.
The board had to reschedule the exams after identifying technical issues that led to incorrect results for some candidates, along with irregularities experienced by others during the examination process.
Of the 1.9 million candidates who sat for this year’s UTME, over 1.5 million scored below 200 out of a possible 400—a statistic that has sparked concern among education stakeholders.
