Following his successful primary election victory, Hon. Donald Ojogo has officially become the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Ilaje/Ese Odo Federal Constituency in the upcoming 2027 general election. The lawmaker emphasized that this political mandate is a loan from the people, which he intends to repay through diligent service and consistent development.
Reflecting on his win, Ojogo expressed appreciation to the residents of Ilaje, Ijaw Apoi, and Arogbo Ijaw for their ongoing trust. He stated that the victory is a result of unity within the constituency. Furthermore, he credited his success to divine favor and extended his gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC National Chairman Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and Minister of Interior Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for their contributions to party fairness and state-wide stability.
Ojogo described the primary process as a friendly exercise rather than a hostile competition. He urged his supporters to remain measured in their celebrations, stressing that the party’s success belongs to everyone. He called upon all stakeholders to move past the primary and focus on securing electoral wins for President Tinubu and other APC candidates in Ondo State. Warning against internal discord, he asserted that a unified party is essential to achieving their goals for the constituency.
