Brigadier General A.M. Dikko, the Commander of the 14 Brigade of the Nigerian Army, recently lauded his troops for their persistent dedication to national service. He specifically recognized their efforts in maintaining stability and security within their operational zone and surrounding areas.
Speaking at an event in Ohafia held for the 2026 Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL), the Commander addressed soldiers during a special Jumma’at prayer session. He emphasized the necessity of maintaining strict discipline, professionalism, and diligence when executing their official responsibilities. According to the General, operational achievements depend on steadfast loyalty, teamwork, and upholding the fundamental principles of the military.
General Dikko further advised personnel to align with the strategic vision of Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Waidi Shaibu. He called for the maintenance of superior ethical standards and constant operational readiness to handle evolving security threats. During the service at the Central Mosque in the Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Barracks, Imam Murtala Sabi highlighted the importance of patience, gratitude, and moral integrity. The gathering concluded with collective prayers focused on achieving enduring peace, unity, and prosperity for Nigeria, alongside success for all army formations.
