Bournemouth has secured the services of right-back Juanlu Sanchez from Sevilla for a fee reaching £11.1m. The 22-year-old moves to the south coast with a wealth of experience, boasting over 100 senior appearances in La Liga, the Uefa Super Cup, and the Champions League.
The Spaniard enters his new chapter as a 2024 Olympic gold medallist, having famously netted the decisive goal in the semi-final against Morocco before securing the title against France. According to reports, the initial transfer fee is £9.4m, supplemented by £1.7m in potential add-ons. Expressing his excitement, Juanlu stated he and his family are thrilled for him to join the club.
