Bishop David Oyedepo, the leader of Living Faith Church Worldwide, has publicly criticized President Bola Tinubu regarding the deteriorating security and economic state of Nigeria. In a widely circulated video, the cleric argued that the current administration is not taking the necessary steps to resolve the nation’s ongoing struggles.
The bishop expressed strong frustration over continuous violence and fatalities throughout the country. He warned that the long-suffering population is reaching a breaking point. While condemning the attackers, Oyedepo emphasized that victims of such violence should not be asked to forgive their aggressors. He explicitly challenged the president to stop ignoring the severity of the situation, stating that the government appears indifferent to the plight of its citizens.
Oyedepo noted that his previous silence has ended, suggesting that public patience is nearly exhausted. He accused the leadership of failing to show the required urgency to safeguard the lives of Nigerians and restore national stability.
