The Accord Party is officially encouraging Osun State voters to grant Governor Ademola Adeleke a second term during the upcoming August 15 election. Party leadership believes his initial term has established a strong foundation that warrants continued service.
This endorsement was formalized during a meeting in Abuja, where state chairs and national officers met with National Chairman Maxwell Mgbudem. The party officials expressed strong belief in Adeleke’s ability to improve economic stability, infrastructure, and regional security. They further used the platform to advocate for broader national support for Accord as they prepare for the 2027 elections.
During the same gathering, the representatives affirmed their support for Mgbudem, citing his leadership as the primary driver behind the party’s recent growth. Mgbudem welcomed the vote of confidence, emphasizing the need for party unity. He advised members to ignore external efforts to create friction within the party and encouraged those with internal complaints to utilize official dispute resolution channels instead.
Mgbudem closed by reiterating the party’s commitment to contesting future elections as a cohesive group, promising voters a platform focused on competence and compassionate governance.
