First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has boosted the maximum amount available through its FastCash instant loan service to ₦500,000. This enhancement allows qualified users to secure more capital for immediate financial requirements.
The service operates around the clock via the FCMB Mobile App and the *32911# USSD code. Borrowers can obtain credit without the need for collateral, guarantors, or physical documentation, eliminating the requirement to visit a bank branch. Approval depends on the transaction history of the individual.
To qualify, applicants must hold an active FCMB account for at least three months. Existing customers in good standing may be granted repayment windows extending up to 90 days. Tunji Lamidi, the Divisional Head of Personal Banking at FCMB, noted that the adjustment reflects a commitment to providing rapid financial solutions for unforeseen circumstances.
Furthermore, individuals who have not reached their current borrowing ceiling may apply for a top-up if they meet the necessary criteria. This upgrade aligns with the bank’s broader strategy to digitize banking services and simplify credit access for its clientele.
