One Killed, Three Injured as Gas Tanker Collides With Tipper in Zamfara
A driver was killed, and three others sustained injuries in a fatal road accident involving a gas-laden tanker and a sand-loaded tipper in Zamfara State.
The accident occurred at 10:19 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the entrance of Tsafe near Dutse.
The Zamfara State Fire Service responded promptly, preventing a potential explosion or fire outbreak.
Firefighters at the scene were seen cooling the tanker to reduce the risk of ignition, while emergency responders evacuated the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The cause of the accident remains unclear, but authorities have launched an investigation.
