PSV Eindhoven winger Couhaib Driouech is currently at Ibrox to observe Rangers in their match against Jagiellonia Bialystok, as he nears a switch to the Scottish Premiership side. The 24-year-old Moroccan international is anticipated to finalize his transfer this Friday.
Last season, Driouech contributed nine goals and eight assists across 40 appearances, though he frequently functioned as a substitute. While at PSV, he was limited to a single start in eight Champions League games and made 24 appearances off the bench in the Eredivisie. Before joining PSV in the summer of 2024, the Haarlem-born attacker spent three seasons with Excelsior and previously developed through the youth system at Heerenveen.
Driouech, a versatile forward who can operate on both flanks, played for the Morocco side that secured the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations. Upon completing his move, he will become the 10th player to join Rangers during this summer window, following the recent acquisition of winger Daisuke Yokota. This move aligns with Chairman Andrew Cavenagh’s recent comments regarding a significant squad overhaul, which has already seen midfielder Mohamed Diomande depart for the Turkish club Corum.
