Yilwatda Nentawe, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, has declared his certainty that the party will secure a win in the upcoming Osun State gubernatorial race. He shared this sentiment on social media following the party’s major rally in the state.
The event drew high-profile attendance, including the Senate President—who appeared on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu—along with the Deputy Senate President, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and various APC governors. Nentawe noted that this strong turnout highlighted the party’s significant backing within the region.
He suggested that the large crowds signaled a public desire for a fresh start defined by prosperity and effective leadership. According to Nentawe, an APC-led government would allow Osun to better align with the Tinubu administration, potentially unlocking new federal development opportunities under the Renewed Hope agenda.
Nentawe expressed his belief that the local population is prepared for a shift in leadership. He urged voters to convert their rally enthusiasm into actual ballots this Saturday to ensure a victory for the party.
