VigorCare seeks to replace this uncertainty with verifiable accountability.
The system utilizes two synchronized mobile applications: the VigorCare App for patients and sponsors, and the VigorProvider App for medical professionals. Key features include video-based teleconsultations, access to electronic medical records (EMR) for sponsors, verifiable electronic prescriptions, and automated scheduling. By offering real-time tracking of treatment, the platform allows sponsors to verify that their financial contributions are being applied strictly to medical services.
VigorCare currently operates a network of over 50 clinics across Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. Its business model includes various subscription tiers, offering payment options in both dollars and naira. The company views this initiative as the foundation for a wider family care infrastructure, aiming to improve coordination for families separated by international borders.
