Chelsea has officially notified Manchester City that any proposal to acquire Enzo Fernandez must be submitted by 5pm this coming Friday. The Argentine midfielder is currently being targeted by City, largely due to his existing connection with new manager Enzo Maresca, who previously worked with the player during his tenure at Stamford Bridge.
Maresca, who succeeded Pep Guardiola, is eager to bring the playmaker to the Etihad Stadium. Chelsea, however, has set a valuation of £120 million for the player, who remains under contract for another six years. Should Manchester City fail to reach this financial threshold, Chelsea has stated they will not pursue a sale during the current transfer period. Earlier this summer, the midfielder also drew interest from Real Madrid.
