Osun APC Leader Calls for Calm and Ethical Political Participation

APC leader Olatunbosun Oyintiloye has urged political stakeholders to conduct themselves peacefully during the upcoming Osun governorship election while hosting an empowerment drive for local artisans.

Ahead of the Osun State governorship election on August 15, Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, a prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) figure, has called on politicians and community members to prioritize peace. During an empowerment event for informal workers held in Ibokun, he emphasized that the APC is dedicated to maintaining orderly conduct throughout the electoral cycle.

The gathering brought together diverse groups including barbers, tailors, welders, and transport workers, alongside representatives from various non-indigenous communities. Oyintiloye highlighted that the initiative aims to boost grassroots involvement and provide essential support to everyday residents. He encouraged those in attendance to back the APC candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, noting that a victory for the party would focus on economic growth and skill-based development.

Bishop Michael Adewale praised the effort, urging locals to maintain unity despite varying political affiliations. Representing the artisans, Tijani Bello expressed gratitude for the support and confirmed that the group would rally support for the APC, emphasizing the need for infrastructure and financial backing for those in the informal economy.
