Ijebuland Comes Agog for Awujale at 90

The entire Ijebuland was lit with pomp and celebration recently as its paramount ruler, the Awujale, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, marked his 90th birthday and 64th Coronation Anniversary with the commissioning of the School of Governance Studies, donated to the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State.  

The commissioning which also featured the launch of a book entitled, “Reinventing Governance in Nigeria, The Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona Model”, was graced by important dignitaries from all walks of life including former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governors Dapo Abiodun and Jackson Ademola Adeleke of Ogun and Osun States respectively; past governors of Ogun State, Olusegun Osoba, Gbenga Daniel and Ibikunle Amosun. anna kopf nudes

Meanwhile, total telecommunications services provider, Globacom, which was represented at the event by Mr. Adeniyi Olukoya, felicitated the Awujale, Oba Adetona, on the twin celebration.

The company added that the monarch’s wisdom, grace, and leadership qualities had been sources of inspiration to the company and Nigerians at large.
