Arsenal is reportedly shopping 19-year-old midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly to Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United. The move comes in the wake of Bruno Guimaraes joining the club for 75 million pounds from Newcastle last week.
Although Lewis-Skelly committed to a fresh contract with Arsenal just last year, he struggled to secure consistent playing time during the team’s successful title-winning campaign. With Guimaraes now in the squad, the young player faces even steeper competition for minutes in the middle of the park.
Reports from the Daily Mail indicate that the champions are now open to parting ways with the versatile youngster. Various clubs in the top flight, including the Blues and United, are currently evaluating the possibility of pursuing a transfer for the player.
