Governor Adeleke Vows to Keep Osun State Funds Local for Development

Governor Ademola Adeleke insists that state funds are being kept within Osun to drive local economic growth and infrastructure improvements ahead of the 2026 election.

Governor Ademola Adeleke has firmly stated that the financial resources of Osun State will be utilized exclusively within the state to boost infrastructure and create jobs for its residents. This pledge was made on Tuesday during an Arise Television town hall meeting focused on the upcoming gubernatorial election.

Reflecting on his leadership since taking office in 2022, Adeleke claimed that his policies have benefited every sector of the state. He highlighted his efforts to support the agricultural community through the provision of tractors and seeds. According to the governor, the local economy is strengthening because he ensures that all project contractors are sourced from within Osun.

Adeleke described his administration as a source of progress for the region, noting that his projects extend beyond road construction to include the widespread installation of street lights. The next Osun State governorship election is set to take place on August 15, 2026.
