Harry Kane has achieved another significant milestone by being named the top goalscorer in Europe for the 2025/2026 season. The Bayern Munich forward earned his second career European Golden Shoe after netting 36 goals during the Bundesliga campaign.
Bayern Munich announced that the award ceremony will occur at their club museum on August 19. Kane, who also won the title in 2024 with the same goal tally, joins Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the only players to secure this honor at least twice.
Club leadership offered high praise for the 32-year-old. President Herbert Hainer compared him to club icons Gerd Müller and Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, noting his role as an inspirational leader. CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen lauded Kane for prioritizing team success over individual accolades, while sporting board member Max Eberl commended the striker’s profound football intelligence and work ethic that complement his goalscoring ability.
