Crystal Palace are finalizing a deal to recruit Anan Khalaili from the Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise. The 21-year-old midfielder is anticipated to finalize his transition to the London side within the next week, with reports indicating a transfer fee of approximately £21m.
During the previous season, Khalaili featured in 52 matches across all formats, contributing six goals and six assists. As an Israel international who has gained valuable experience in the Champions League, he is expected to strengthen the Palace squad for their upcoming Europa League participation.
The club has been aggressive in the transfer market, having already secured defenders Takehiro Tomiyasu and Oscar Mingueza on free transfers. While Palace also explored a move for Brennan Johnson, he is reportedly headed to Everton in a swap deal involving Dwight McNeil.
