FULL LIST: US Government Excludes UK, Nigeria, and Others from Visa-Free Entry For 2025
The United States has unveiled its list of eligible countries for the 2025 Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
While the United Kingdom has been removed from the program, it remains eligible under certain conditions.
Notably, the list excludes African nations such as Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa.
The VWP list has seen minimal changes, with Romania being a significant addition.
As outlined by the U.S. Bureau of Consular Affairs, the Visa Waiver Program enables most citizens of eligible countries to visit the U.S. for tourism or business for up to 90 days without obtaining a visa.
The agency stated, “Travelers must have a valid Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) approval prior to travel and meet all requirements explained below.
“If you prefer to have a visa in your passport, you may still apply for a visitor visa.”
The 2025 Visa Waiver Program has introduced several updates, including changes to permit eligibility, revisions to the list of participating countries, and new travel policies.
