The Wigan Warriors extended their winning streak to 11 matches, securing a 48-18 victory against Toulouse Olympique to climb into second place in the Super League standings. Zach Eckersley and Liam Marshall each contributed two tries to the dominant performance.
Eckersley reached 33 tries for the season, while Bevan French continued his excellent form by scoring one try and setting up another for Jai Field. Harry Smith maintained a perfect kicking record, converting all eight goals. Additional tries came from Noah Hodkinson and Sam Eseh as Wigan asserted control in the second half.
Although Toulouse briefly managed to tie the score 18-18 before the break following efforts from Paul Ulberg, Romeo Tropis, and Cesar Rouge, they struggled to maintain the pace. Wigan responded to early pressure with sustained intensity, effectively overcoming a temporary disadvantage when Brad O’Neill was sent to the sin-bin. The victory solidifies Wigan’s momentum as they maintain their climb up the league table.
