Miracle Usani, a defender for the Super Falcons, has officially joined the Turkish Women’s Super League team ABB FOMGET. The club announced the 19-year-old’s signing on Saturday, securing her for the upcoming 2026/27 campaign.
Usani is now the second Nigerian player to join the former Turkish league titleholders this summer, following the recent transfer of Zipporah Agama from the Spanish club Levante UD Femenino. The young defender was a member of the Nigeria squad that claimed a 10th continental title at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. During that tournament, she made a single appearance for the team.
Her international background includes representing Nigeria at the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup hosted in India. Domestically, Usani played a key role in helping Edo Queens capture the Nigeria Women Football League crown during the 2023/24 season. Her consistent play also secured her a spot in the 2024 CAF Women’s Champions League Best XI.
