Nollywood Actor Columbus Irisoanga Passes Away
Veteran Nollywood actor Columbus Irisoanga has passed away, as confirmed by his colleague Hilda Dokubo.
His death marks another loss for the Nigerian film industry, though details surrounding his passing have yet to be disclosed.
Ms Dokubo took to Instagram to mourn him, writing: “There can’t be shortage of Angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this na!
“This one is heavy on Uniport Rivers state Nollywood.”
She added: “Our uncle Coli @colu_mbusirisoanga has gone to be with the lord.”

Aside from his acting career, Columbus Irisoanga was a senior lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt, where he taught in the Theatre Arts department.
He was widely recognized for his role as the chief priest, “Igbudu,” in the 2001 Nollywood classic Isakaba.
Irisoanga remained active in the film industry until his passing, leaving behind a legacy in both academia and entertainment.
