Charles Okocha refutes biting claim, urges Portable to accept loss

Charles Okocha has rejected allegations that he bit singer Portable during their recent boxing match in Lagos, urging his opponent to accept the official result.

Actor Charles Okocha has officially refuted claims that he bit singer Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, during their recent celebrity boxing match in Lagos. Speaking on Tuesday during an interview with TVC Entertainment, Okocha stated that his use of a mouth guard throughout the fight made the alleged incident impossible.

The pair competed at the Balmoral Convention Centre last Friday. The referee declared Okocha the winner after Portable faced disqualification for violating match rules. Portable had allegedly shifted away from the permitted wrestling techniques to use forbidden punches, which ultimately led him to exit the ring prematurely.

In the aftermath, Portable asserted that Okocha had bitten his back and performed a neck lock during their struggle. Okocha rejected these accusations, noting that he had no incentive to engage in such behavior. He jokingly remarked that he would rather eat grass than come into contact with the singer’s skin. Okocha stressed that the singer needs to move past the loss and accept the official result of the match rather than continuing to circulate false stories.
