Princess Eugenie Welcomes Daughter in Lisbon

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank have welcomed their third child, a baby girl, born in a Lisbon hospital on Monday evening.

Princess Eugenie has delivered a daughter at a medical facility in Lisbon, Portugal. The infant arrived on Monday at 18:20 BST, with a birth weight of 6lbs 9oz. This newborn is the third child for the Princess and her spouse, Jack Brooksbank, joining older brothers August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, born in 2021, and Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, born in 2023.

Buckingham Palace released a statement confirming that the King, Queen, and the wider Royal Family were pleased to receive the announcement. The Princess shared her own joy on Instagram, stating that she and Jack are thrilled to welcome their daughter. While the child will not hold an HRH title, she sits 15th in the line of royal succession, placing her ahead of Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh.

The family currently divides their time between Portugal and Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace. The couple previously shared the news of the pregnancy in May, posting an image of their two sons with an ultrasound scan to mark the upcoming arrival.
