Ariana Grande to step away from public life following conclusion of tour

Ariana Grande is set to reduce her public appearances and has cancelled her involvement in a London musical production to manage the impact of intense public scrutiny.

Ariana Grande plans to retreat from the public eye and withdraw from her role in an upcoming London musical once her Eternal Sunshine tour concludes. A spokesperson for the 33-year-old artist informed People magazine that she intends to decrease her visibility following ongoing, intense public focus on her personal life.

The production team behind the 2027 Barbican revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George confirmed that Grande will no longer participate in the show. Empire Street Productions expressed full support for the singer, acknowledging that the choice to step down from the project—which was set to feature her Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey—was likely difficult.

Recent years have seen persistent speculation regarding Grande’s health and appearance, a trend that intensified after the debut of her newest album, Petal. Despite this, her representative emphasized that the singer is focused on finishing her current tour successfully and remains in good health, noting the high level of athleticism required for her live performances.
