Ogun State Court to Decide on Dolphin Steels Asset Injunction

An Ogun State High Court has scheduled a ruling for August 3, 2026, on an injunction request regarding the disputed assets of Dolphin Steels Limited.

On August 3, 2026, the High Court in Ifo, Ogun State, will deliver its decision regarding an interlocutory injunction request. This case, identified as HCF/136/2026, centers on a contract dispute concerning the assets of Dolphin Steels Limited, currently under receivership.

Prodigy Finance Limited initiated the legal action, demanding specific performance regarding the purchase agreement for industrial assets situated in Papalanto, Ifo. The named defendants include Zenith Bank Plc and the company’s receiver-manager, Mr. Olugbenga Ajala.

During the July 23 hearing, attorney Oluwatosin Olumakin requested that the court prevent the defendants from transferring or selling the property while the case is ongoing. Because the defendants failed to provide legal representation or file a response despite being served, Justice Ogunfowora set the ruling date for early August.
