Verified locations impacted by the flooding include neighborhoods like Moduri, Abbari Sabon Kwalta, and Pompomari in Damaturu, alongside various wards in Nguru, Bursari, and Machina. The agency emphasized that this list remains preliminary and subject to change as ongoing assessments identify additional affected sites.
Initial reports highlight significant damage to numerous residential buildings.
