Zambia’s head coach, Nora Häuptle, has signaled that her squad is well-prepared for their upcoming Women’s Africa Cup of Nations match against the Super Falcons. The Copper Queens aim to clinch a spot in the quarter-finals during their Saturday evening encounter in Rabat.
During a briefing ahead of the game, Häuptle acknowledged the pressure on Nigeria, noting that the Super Falcons require a victory to remain in contention. She observed that Nigeria displayed high energy and created numerous scoring opportunities in their previous match against Malawi. Häuptle stressed that while she recognizes the individual and collective capabilities of the Nigerian team, her primary focus remains on her own side’s tactical approach.
She expressed full confidence in her team’s strategy, suggesting that if her players carry out the game plan with precision, they have a strong chance of defeating their opponents.
