Saudi Arabian officials are reportedly preparing to offer Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah a lucrative £65 million contract over two seasons.

Salah’s current deal with Liverpool is set to expire this summer, and the Egyptian star has yet to agree to an extension, fueling speculation about his future.

Amid uncertainty over his tenure at Anfield, reports suggest that Saudi leaders are considering a move for the prolific forward. This follows a social media post by Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, who shared an image of Salah in an Al-Hilal jersey on Facebook.

Alalshikh, who has been influential in Saudi Arabia’s involvement in sports, including boxing, has signaled Al-Hilal’s ambition to sign Salah. The reported deal would offer the winger a staggering salary should he choose to leave Liverpool.

Salah, 32, has cemented his legacy as one of Liverpool’s greatest-ever players, scoring 232 goals in 376 appearances since joining the club from Roma in 2017 for an initial £36.5 million fee.
