Portable Issues Apology Following Early Exit from Boxing Match Against Charles Okocha

Singer Portable has apologized to organizers and fans after unexpectedly walking out of his celebrity boxing rematch against actor Charles Okocha after just one round.

Street-hop artist Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has issued a formal apology after abandoning his celebrity boxing rematch against actor Charles Okocha. The event, which took place on Friday, July 31, 2026, ended abruptly when the singer refused to continue past the initial round.

Shortly after the contest, a statement released by his management team, Zeh Nation, expressed regret to the event promoters, the Balmoral Group, the production crew, and the audience members who attended. The team admitted that the singer’s sudden departure was disappointing for all parties involved.

Despite the backlash, the management defended Portable’s right to leave the ring. They asked the public to show understanding for his choice, noting that high-pressure situations can affect a performer’s perspective. Portable was officially recorded as having lost the match after choosing not to return for the second round.
