Shortly after gaining fame, Davido traveled to Ghana for a performance. During the trip, he invited a woman to his hotel room. While he was asleep, the woman took a photograph of him and shared it online, triggering widespread criticism and concern from his family and management team.
Davido admitted he was inexperienced with celebrity life at the time and failed to establish necessary boundaries. He recalled the immense pressure he felt when his father and sisters contacted him regarding the viral image. He noted that the distress was so severe that he contemplated jumping from a balcony.
