Wilfred Obasi Joins TenTrade as Regional Director to Drive African Expansion

TenTrade has appointed industry veteran Wilfred Obasi as its new Regional Director for Africa to oversee commercial growth and expand the broker’s presence across the continent.

TenTrade has hired Wilfred Obasi as its new Regional Director for Africa, signaling a push to increase its footprint in the region. Obasi succeeds Victor Ufot, bringing thirteen years of financial industry experience to the role, including a previous stint as Partner Enablement Manager at Exinity in Dubai.

His responsibilities include overseeing commercial strategy, business development, and client acquisition. Obasi aims to expand TenTrade’s reach by refining the broker’s CFD and proprietary trading products to better suit the specific needs of African traders. He also plans to prioritize the growth of local partnerships and the introduction of new financial instruments.

Reflecting on his new position, Obasi highlighted the untapped potential within the African market and expressed his dedication to fostering strong relationships with regional partners. TenTrade Chief Revenue Officer Andreas Andreou noted that Obasi’s deep industry knowledge and regional insight make him an ideal fit for the company’s expansion goals.

This appointment complements the firm’s broader branding efforts, which are anchored by their partnership with football icon Luis Figo. Much like the discipline and high performance represented by Figo, TenTrade expects Obasi to implement a rigorous standard of excellence across its African operations to solidify trust and market presence.
