The Dorset native decided to pursue this comeback after a successful practice session at a driving range in Ireland just six weeks postpartum. Since then, she has regained competitive form on the Ladies European Tour, successfully making the cut in three separate events. She aims to follow in the footsteps of Catriona Matthew, who won at Lytham shortly after giving birth to her second child, though Hall remains focused on managing her own expectations during this transition.
Hall, whose partner is professional golfer Paul Dunne, noted that her focus this week is on patience and personal progress. Despite the challenge posed by the recently modified, firmer course conditions, she feels her game is trending in the right direction. While she reflects fondly on the putts that defined her 2018 victory, her primary goal remains to continue her steady improvement throughout the tournament.
