Tolu Arokodare, the Super Eagles forward, has finalized a loan switch to Ajax Amsterdam from Wolves for the 2026/27 campaign, as reported by DAILY POST. The deal grants Ajax the possibility of a permanent transfer in the future.
Arokodare aims to follow in the footsteps of legendary Nigerian players such as Finidi George, Nwankwo Kanu, Tijani Babangida, and Sunday Oliseh, who all enjoyed notable success with the Amsterdam-based club. The 25-year-old previously moved to Wolves from KRC Genk in Belgium last year.
His tenure at Molineux was challenging, as he managed only three goals and one assist across 33 league matches for the team. This move comes after a stellar 2024/2025 season where he earned recognition as a leading goalscorer in the Belgian Pro League.
