The All Progressives Congress has formally challenged assertions made by Peter Obi regarding President Bola Tinubu’s capacity to lead. The opposition figure recently suggested that the President was fatigued and should step down from his position.
During a recent appearance on Channels Television, Nentawe Yilwatda, the National Chairman of the APC, dismissed these claims as unfounded. Yilwatda argued that the President maintains a rigorous daily schedule and continues to oversee significant infrastructure initiatives nationwide.
He challenged the nature of Obi’s critique, questioning if the presidency requires physical feats such as boxing or sprinting. Yilwatda further emphasized that the President works diligently from dawn until dusk, refuting the narrative of exhaustion. He concluded by asserting that the many citizens currently impacted by the government’s initiatives remain supportive of Tinubu’s ongoing leadership.
