President Bola Tinubu has formally denounced the violent raid on Naridon Village in Kaduna State, instructing security services to capture those responsible and recover all kidnapped victims. The incident, which took place on Monday morning within Kamaru Ward of Kauru Local Government Area, resulted in the deaths of approximately 30 individuals, including women and children, and the destruction of numerous homes.
In a statement released Tuesday in Abuja by Presidential Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, the president characterized the strike as a brutal and spineless act against innocent people. Tinubu stated that he has instructed the military, police, and intelligence services to expand their efforts to find the culprits and ensure stability returns to the region.
The president asserted that anyone aiming to destabilize Kaduna State will face the full weight of the law. He expressed sympathy to the families of the victims, as well as Governor Uba Sani and the people of Kaduna, pledging the federal government’s full assistance. Furthermore, Tinubu emphasized his administration’s dedication to upgrading security resources and dismantled criminal groups, while calling on local residents to assist authorities by reporting useful information to help prevent future attacks.
