BBC Breakfast co-host Naga Munchetty is moving to Radio 5 Live to lead its breakfast show after a 17-year run on the television program.

Naga Munchetty is stepping down from her role as co-host on BBC Breakfast, a position she has held for 17 years. She is moving to a new role as the lead presenter for the Radio 5 Live breakfast show. Munchetty initially started at BBC Breakfast as a finance reporter before spending the last 12 years as one of the program’s primary hosts.

While she currently splits her time between the television morning show and a mid-morning radio slot, she will transition to a full-time, five-day-a-week schedule on 5 Live Breakfast beginning this December.
