CNCN Denounces Ongoing Violence in Southern Kaduna

The Congress of Northern Christians of Nigeria has condemned the persistent killings and destruction of property in Southern Kaduna, calling on the federal government to take decisive action against the perpetrators.

The Kaduna State branch of the Congress of Northern Christians of Nigeria (CNCN) has expressed deep concern regarding the relentless attacks on civilians by gunmen. The organization criticized the lack of effective government intervention to stop this cycle of violence.

State Chairman Elder Bulus Dogarawa issued a statement noting that countless citizens have faced property destruction and displacement over several decades. He described the persistent attacks, which often target residents in their sleep, as both inhumane and irrational.

The CNCN raised questions about why perpetrators remain free while victims receive minimal support to recover from their losses. Dogarawa urged the Federal Government to identify the root causes of this terrorism rather than treating the symptoms. He argued that the nation must implement practical strategies to end kidnapping and bloodshed.

Finally, the group insisted that anyone involved in these criminal activities should face severe legal consequences. The CNCN called upon security agencies and the government to intensify their efforts to restore safety and order to the affected regions.
